The pinup party:

Pinup parties are typically scheduled in the evening after normal business hours so our guests can have the run of the studio. Our studio has several large comfortable social rooms and several dressing rooms to provide privacy. A pinup party starts with a social hour. Sometimes party guests are a little nervous and not quite sure what to expect. This gives them some time to relax and to get to know Ken. We encourage fun so often the party hostess will start things off with an icebreaker! At some point during this time Ken will discuss the photography session and show a short slideshow of examples. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments or cocktails are welcome but not supplied. Arrangements can be made with several local restaurants for food; alcoholic beverages cannot be provided, we don’t have a liquor license, but you’re welcome to supply your own. Don’t bother asking Ken to join you, he never drinks when he’s working.

Each party guest is photographed with two or three outfits. The length of time allocated to the party is dependent upon the number of guests.(Minimum 4, maximum 12) The focus of the party is fun photography, and typically the more fun the better the photographs. Some good-natured teasing and a little banter are always part of the mix. Every party offers up some surprises and a lot of laughter.

Artwork is performed in post session and the images are ready for your viewing in approximately 2 weeks. [viewing the images makes for a good excuse for another get-together]
